don't get the intense love for the title track on this, I mean I like it but if I had to pick my fav song off this album idk that it'd be that

I like it because it has that experimental feeling that was typical on this era of Bowie but at the same time it is like a perfect pop song

t/t is my 2nd favorite Bowie and deff my favorite from the Berlin Trilogy
|
| |
I didn't think that much of it until I read the lyrics, payed close attention to the way his vocal performance gets more intense as the song goes and the way it constrasts with the somewhat chirpie sound of the music
It probably gives off one of the most powerful images of any song Bowie made but it's still extremely stylish and melodramatic (in a good way), like really good opera or smthn, it's very unique
and the music rules

I love how detuned Bowie's vocals are on the t/t
|
| |
It's pretty ingenious how the second half is pretty much just the first half repeated with shouted vocals but one half wouldn't be as strong as it is without the other part
