So symbolic and meaningful, and yet completely and utterly meaningless

@Ecnalzen
Yeah dude I love the intro to The Beltsville Crucible; gets me amped and has a lot of energy. But then
it sort of fizzles out unfittingly. I think that finishing the album with an ending more like The Red
Death would have been way more appropriate.

I mean, yeah, Rowan, pretty much. Its impressive, really.
Honestly, Ending, I wish it would have ended with Strange. But yeah, there could have been so many better choices.

I just reread your comment and I think I just sort of subliminally repeated it. I guess it's time for me to hit the hay but now I'm sort of in the mood to listen to this.

And Strange would be a cool way to end it too. Even Deadbolt would probably have been better. Awesome
album regardless.

Which Thrice album do I start with? The only song by them I know is the t/t from Artist but damn I love that song.

For their roots, this album, for their poppier stuff, Artist in the Ambulance, for their more experimental stuff, Vheissu and beyond.

"for their poppier stuff, Artist in the Ambulance"
K...
Cuz Under a Killing Moon, Paper Tigers, Silhouette, Blood Cots and Black Holes, and The Abolition of Man are just the lightest songs they have ever written.

I would say listen to their stuff post-Vheissu, Greeny, especially their last two. You seem pretty big on the alt rock, which is the direction they take on M/m and Beggars.

I kind of agree that individual songs are better to start with but Artist would be a good album to listen to first. It's also my favourite by them though so I could be a little biased. Maj/Min could be a pretty good starting point too.

Athom is actually a hidden track at the end of Red Sky.

Not the lightest, just the most accessible.
