Guys, I don’t like boys like t-swift does and certainly not as clever as her nor will I be intelligent enough to comprehend how she became so famous. I can’t say that I know much truth be told. I’m clueless how I even ended up here. One thing I do know is that when I put my headphones on, I close my eyes and press play on ‘Midnights’, my nightmares become daydreams; fantasies of love and loss play chess in my mind; I begin to feel serenity overcome previous anxieties because the queen is soothing my wounds. I can languidly drift into other worlds with calming vocals, sweet synth melodies, enchanting ambient-tinged production with varietal approaches to dream-pop, chill-out music and electronica. Then queen keeps feeding me by releasing MORE songs! Seven more songs, queen please, Imma ‘bout to buss! “Bigger Than the Whole Sky” unleashing tear droplets all over my cardigan; “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” making me resent ever enjoying John Mayer’s sultry voice; “High Infidelity,” guuurrrrllll, “You know there's many different ways that you can kill the one you love/The slowest way is never loving them enough.” Are there onions in here or did I just get stabbed by a letter opener? Spoilt for choice especially after already getting top bops like “Maroon,” “Vigilante ***,” and “Sweet Nothing.” I’m not gonna ‘5’ this because I don’t want to get banned but Tay knows how to treat her babies. I’m her baby, yes I am.
