Review Summary: [...]
New Black Tongue is the heaviest thing ever fathomed. It's like a legion of bulldozer trailing across your chest and shattering bone into a flour like dust, or maybe like a hundred steroid abusing rhino's goring you into bits with their horns, or some other ridicolous nonsensical allegory. Yeah, it's heavy.
Black Tongue has mastered the only two things you will ever need in music, the SLAM and the DJUN. Seriously, after hearing the very first SLAM from "The Eternal Return to Ruin" you will either become the SLAM or cower in fear as you switch on your Kero Kero Bonito playlist.
Now you might say "oh, but that's all Black Tongue ever does! Slam, djun, where's the musicianship!?" to which I swing into your window and end you with a deft strike to the neck. Shut it, liberal scum. That aside, Black Tongue does not just SLAM and DJUN this time, but rather mixes in some monstrous sludgy riffs with a variety of odd unsettling electronic effects to back them.
So basically, this is good, 4/10,
