Review Summary: Stooma's first EP sets them on a road that they may never return from.
Stooma is the local band from my friend Julio and this is their first EP. Mix together many elements of music both acoustic and independent and progressive. Although only four tracks of time they really show his skills as a singer and guitar player and song writer. This is a short listen so what I think the best way is to go through the album track by track and show what the album really is.
1. Socket Madness
The first song is probably one of the most catchy, but also shows the progressive side, because about half of the song is sung Stooma through a guitar line empty. It blends elements of indie underground music who loves to experiment with just a good pop song that has a great melody. Taking on the album is a metaphor for a woman and is a phrase consisting of the intention to sound British. This is the attempt to be British Stooma on the album and I can not say that always works, but here it sounds pretty good to me.

2. Grape Soda Jamba
The second song is called Grape Soda Jamb is another metaphor for women, but is manifested as Stooma favorite drink. It starts with an acoustic riff rolling but overall this is probably the worst song, but it remains one of the good. It also breaks a border to have a long and acapella part of head in the end what really helps build the song to a new level that would not have been without it. The rest of the song is good but the lyrics of this song are a little repeating so be careful. Also let them know that he likes to focus on the accent in it too.

3. Stooma Eponymous
The third song is a kind of We Are Stooma that Stooma released as a sample of the album, but has a cool voice commensurate progress much better. In fact, in cold blood flows from section to section and is really the possibility of Stooma talk about himself in the song and express some of their interests and dislikes. Its catchy and if there is one that might find you are stuck in your head then you probably do it. The lyrics are pretty big and fun in this case. It also has a catchy final freak out solo and it is fine.
"I like killer girls, I wish you would kill me now"

4. Stooma Anonymous
This song is unique in that it is actually written from the perspective of a fan of Stooma and how the fan sees Stooma in everything he does. The lyrics of this song are excellent, as it shows how people really think Stooma sees it and after seeing some friends at his shows he may be right. At least when it comes to friends and family. This is a sweet picking of acoustic guitar and probably the best performances of Stooma on the album vocally. It has a great melody and Stooma does not disappoint in any way.
5/5
In order, has released an album Stooma great even if it's just an EP. He is currently working on a full studio album and I hope the world will be ready for that too. So go and spread the great word of Stooma if you like and even if not.
