Review Summary: The Worst Band You Will Ever Like

I have no idea what to say about this band. It's clear that they know of what detriment they cause the music scene, but their music is so f**king odd. Odd not in the way P!ATD's sophomore album was, but more in a way that owns up to all the harsh criticism and takes it through "the speakers" So I have decided to do a track by track review of the EP.

1. Stutter Shake Breakdown
Okay, so i've got to say that this is arguably one of the greater songs on this album. Ultimately catchy but lacking in any form of unity. There really seems to be no chorus unless you count the line, " I Guess That's What Love Is", the chorus. But whatever. There are some great points to this song such as the addictive rave type beat throughout. What really throws me off is the verse at the end, which switches the style of the song up to one of a more rap type song. I guess it works out. ( for better or for worse )

2. Take 'Em Off
The first thing I can tell is that "We. Wont. Stop." is really diverse production wise. The second track on the EP, "Take 'Em Off"is a slower/upbeat dance track. With harsh screams sprinkled throughout for almost no reason. The lyrics are very average, and don't try much to differ from their contemporaries such as Breathe Carolina and Brokencyde.

3. Whisper It To Me
Again. Music wise the beat is very different from the song before it. This song is very intentionally dark. I think it aims too much to be sultry and sexy, but definitely falls short by a few inches. I do love the guitar in the background during the chorus and that might be the strongest point of this song.

4. Obscene.
What the ***!? Is the first thing that comes to mind. This song sounds like a lost BrokeNCYDE song that got lost in its ***tyness. The lyrics are more aimed at mocking the emo/scene/hardcore kids, and that may be why this is my favorite song on this EP.

5. Choke
"You're a bitch and I can see that now."

Good job with your first review, but it needs a lot of work. A few general tips to start off are: /

1. When you submit the tracklist, make sure all the titles are capitalized propery. Album art is a good idea too.
2. Make sure you check your grammar and such in the review.
3. Track by tracks are okay to start off with, but progressing to full reviews will be a good idea further down the track.

Other then that, nice work! Probably won't check this. This Message Edited On 12.27.08
