Listening to this the day after he has passed away has been devastating but comforting in a way. Truly one the best voices I've ever heard.

Superior singing and guitar playing. Very neat.
So many great songs. Cornell in some cases sure do sing these songs better than on the original recordings.
Doesn't Remind Me, All Night Thing, Call Me A Dog, Black Hole Sun, Wide Awake and Scar On The Sky might be the best ones on this album.

"Chris Cornell's Greatest Hits - Live Acoustic" is more or less what this is. His voice is great live, the only reason this is 3.5-4 range and not 4.5 is he does some weird stuff to some of the songs.r"Doesn't Remind Me" really shouldn't be sped up, it's much better @ the original tempo. "Black Hole Sun" is difficult to sing by yourself since it has 2 voices singing at the same time in the chorus, He tries to imitate this but only partially succeeds. "Fell On Black Days" is still pretty good but he avoids some of the high notes and sings the verses differently, which isn't good in this case. He also does the whole "fast, loud strum of the same chord" to end almost every song, which gets old. If it's a softer, more emotional song no one wants you to end the song that way. It's kind of a parlor trick to get the crowd to applaud more than they might have otherwise.
