So desperately and boringly grasping at whatever counts as mainstream extreme metal appeal. Might as well have gone all out on being a deathcore band if you're just gonna do slow junz for 35 minutes.

Frustrating as there are flourishes of awesome (including a feral Gerard Way feature) but band is too eager to get back to the same boring braindead mid tempo chugs they employ for 90% of the album
