After a few listens, here is my honest input:This is a short album (which is not necessarily a
bad thing), most of the songs blended together to create a deep and dark/doom-like vibe. The
lyrics dive deep into life's struggles and the darkness we often carry alone or share with
others. It's clearly well thought out. It kicks off slow but heavy, gradually building up its
intensity. I felt that from "Monolith" to "Witness the End", it gets seriously heavy with
surprisingly catchy and mosh pit worthy breakdowns lol. "Witness the End" was the highlight, it
especially stood out, integrating dark gothic elements like your favorite seasoning, providing a
layer of new flavor that just slaps. I was genuinely surprised by it and props for trying
something new!
Personal favorites: "Monolith", "Sentient", "Blue Venom", and "Witness the End".
Least favorite: "Shelter". It felt out of place, almost like it's from a completely different
band. It leans more toward generic alt rock and comparable to recent BMtH, which was kind of
jarring, but hey, to each their own.
