| 3.2 good | Trey STAFF | October 11th 25 | This is easily the best thing the band have done in a long time. First, they finally dropped the generic black metal influences and went back to a dark, atmospheric electro industrial sound. That alone, makes this better than their last few albums. The thing is, it's also great on it's own. Pounding beats, distorted vocals, lush macabre keyboards, and cyclical electronics all done well. I hope they keep this sound for a while. If there is a problem, it's that the album is a little front loaded and maybe a little too similar by the time we reach the back third.
