Don't believe any hate out there, this is a well done debut that any fan of Slipknot should
be able to sit through and enjoy for what it is.

The best Slipknot album in 20 years. Before you call me reductionist, they were bound to get immediate comparisons even if they weren't their spawn or Griffin didn't sound like a clone of his father. There's a vague flavor of independence, but overall this is a page right out of the book that Knot wrote. They could absolutely have decided "We don't just wanna mimic our dads" but instead they made Iowa 2.0. . .and I'm not at all mad about it.
