Fucked Up have never been strangers to stately melodics, but on 'Another Day' those take centre stage. Not every melodic idea works with their hardcore leanings, but you cannot say they aren't memorable.

I really do not like this style of post-hardcore being fused with indie rock. Everything about this new album from Fucked Up sees the band strip back their theatrical style to really try and focus on simple riffs and punky screams. But man this album sounds as awkward as you would imagine it would.
