Wake Up the Dead was the first album I've heard from the German, werewolf-themed power metallers. The Sabaton/Manowar influences were evident from the intro 'Bless 'em With the Blade' and by the follow-up 'Sinners of the Seven Seas', the music landscape was clear: epic and catchy tracks with anthemic choruses that stick in with you for days, because this is how a quality power metal album should be. Despite how good and tasty Wake Up the Dead is, it comes with the usual flaws of the genre: similarity in the riffs, standardized structure, recycled ideas, and not much room to differentiate. Tony recommends: "Kyrie Klitorem", "1589", "Viva Vulgata", "Sinners of the Seven Seas", "Joan of Arc"
