4.0 excellent | Assemblage | March 12th 22 | This band has been throwing any remaining listeners for a loop lately; firstly releasing two albums in 2020, one passable and one so overwhelmingly weak I wouldn't hesitate to consider it to be their nadir, then slapping back with a complete double album by the likes of 'Agma' in the last days of 2021, which most likely has gone completely overlooked but for those invested actually delivered a remarkably attentive package for something that was if I recall like an hour and a half long. Here we have four new songs, delivered in the wake of the conflict in Ukraine, sparked as a fundraiser with all proceeds going to UNHCR. Musically, it is solid as an EP alone though my favorite track was the short and sweet opener. Traditionally I would probably do this as a 3.5, but I'm willing to stand by the bonus points attributed and say this is worth your time spinning, and by extension if it was enjoyed why not take a look into Agma.
