I'm surprised to see such low ratings for this. It pretty much delivers what it promised: a one-off cheesy 80s VHS horror synthwave soundtrack to a non-existent movie about alien mannequins. It's a fun album and it sounds like the band had fun making it. Cool atmosphere, great synth work, interesting melodies, and the appropriate amount of self-aware b-horror cheese to welcome the Fall season.

An excellent Synthwave album! Of course, if you expect their usual sound, you might be disappointed.

Strange. Only two songs, the rest being instrumentals or interludes. It feels like unfinished ideas, like they came up with "Mannequins" which is a great song and then they ran out of inspiration. Here's hope they go back to... being good.
