A very atmospheric listen which brings to mind Celtic Frost but differentiates itself with the clever use of synths and the sparse female vocals which truly provide an unexpected element to the album.

This slaps. The simple and heavy riffs, and the really exotic synths and guest vocals make this album very memorable, and I might bump up my rating later because I feel this is a grower.
The album is beautiful: the production is spot on, the songwriting is very intelligent and creative (somewhat proggy?) and the overall package offered lot more than what I expected.
The Darkthrone guys are just simply unstoppable!
