5.0 classic | temptationFruit | March 2nd 18 | Here is something different. King Green is always giving us crazy space metal. Well here we have an example of synthpop and prog intertwined in a dreamy and sci-fi fashion. The production sounds dated (super 80s) and the drums are pingy and reverby, but it doesn't detract from the music and actually does much to support it. The melodies and build-ups on here are very powerful, and the last track offers a great closer to it all.

4.0 excellent | flexcrew | February 28th 18 | really cool momentum on this release from king green. Moments recall of past albums but there is definitely something new here to play with. the songs "mercy holds everyone" and "this tower was always yours" hold to key to the release. All tracks have their own specific flavor, ranging from the atonal depths of the underworld, to the cybernetically layered cities of tomorrow bustling with hope and practically bursting at the seems with nuance. Definitely worth a listen for music lovers.
