3.0 good | Xenophanes EMERITUS | November 1st 16 | Loud and fast music with a grimy production. Would be cool if you hadn't heard 1000 incarnations of this band already.

4.0 excellent | BallsDeep | October 24th 16 | A cacophonous blend of deathgrind, sludge, punk and even black metal, 'Decline' sonically
bludgeons the listener for 23 straight minutes with no respite or remorse. While that
runtime seems fairly short for an LP it's quite an apt length for an album this pummeling
and potent. Though it brings nothing particularly new to to the table and is essentially
a continuation of the trio's 2014 EP , it is executed to near perfection and is difficult
to fault . So whether you're seeking to clear a room of people, push through your final
reps in a workout or you're chasing musical catharsis, this album delivers in every
sense. Not
everyone's cup of tea but it works for me.

4.0 excellent | zaruyache | February 21st 17 | Nasty pummeling grind with some of that dissonant death metal mixed in here and there (there
are some lengthy blast parts with non-grindy tremolo chord progressions).

5.0 classic | sionnemw | October 26th 16 | Disgustingly bitter and bleak beyond repair. One of the darkest albums I've heard in ages.

3.5 great | Henry | November 1st 16 | The production on this is just really cacophonous and abrasive, but the song writing needs some variation to really push it over into the realm of excellence.
