Finally. A metalcore album in 2016 that actually sounds like it's giving a damn. However, I won't be giving it a perfect score. It sounds way too cleanly produced for my ears and the lyrics made my eyes roll on more than a couple of occasions. Again I really liked this album. In this current -core climate, this should satisfy most fans and raise the bar for similar artists a little higher.

THIS SHIT. This shit is sick, it's like scale the summit with awesome vocals. The technicality is
impressive and tasteful. A really impressive debut from these guys. Reminds me of Iona Grove,
who I'm also quite fond of. Whatever took em four years to release this muhfuckler was worth it

How has nobody made an Architects comparison? This is clear as day. Still awesome because Architects is awesome but they even had the fuckin' singer from Architects in a song lol.

Is it just me that finds this fairly boring? Sure these guys can play their instruments well, but it doesn't really amount to anything of interest. There are catchier bands, more technical bands and heavier bands aplenty; I just struggle to see where these guys fit in. And the lyrics are attempts at profundity that fall flat more often than not which really make the band look their age. Its certainly enjoyable, but the enjoyment is short lived.

When they actually decide to take the songs somewhere and refrain from the screamy wankshake they turn out much better. This would've been an enjoyable listen if it was instrumental because its not just that the vocals are average, unfortunately you understand the cringy lyrics.

This is a pretty good album. Musically almost perfect, very intricate and interesting. But unlike the majority here, I think the vocals is a bit boring. The screams are average at best, and it seems to me that the clean vocalist gave everything he had, literally. As if he pushed himself and his voice so much to get to this result. So that's where they lost their points. But it's still an enjoyable album.

This is way, way up there. Probably a 4.5 but they're one of my favorite bands ever so I have to give it a 5. This band is pure raw talent. Best hardcore album in years.
