This Central California band had as a goal to capture the spirit of the late 60s/early 70s and make people wonder if this record was made in 1969, as per drummer Cody Tarbell. Influenced by bands like Budgie and Led Zeppelin, Mountains is full of soaring refrains, howling rock ?n? roll vocals, bluesy riffs and bombastic Ludwig drum poundings. The songs have a natural feeling in them as they were recorded live on reel-to-reel tape. These analog sounds help the quintet not only to pay homage to its heroes but also meet their goal. Tony recommends: "Sixty-Eight", "Endless Mountain", "Synanon", "Shake"
