4.0 excellent | jkr5001 | September 15th 14 | Really interesting and diverse album. Lombardo crushes it behind the kit. I can see them touring with Faith No More in 2015.

3.5 great | OmairSh | November 22nd 16 | The rawness and jam oriented feeling makes this album refreshing. Lots of really cool guitar tones and effects with a solid rhythm section

4.0 excellent | wham49 | August 29th 15 | Great follow up to their debut Harmonic, slightly more metal than the debut, would have
liked to hear more of the atmosphere that Harmonic created, but still a killer album

4.5 superb | BRAman22 | September 27th 14 | Fire From the Evening Sun is experimental and progressive as fuck, and it sounds great. It's good to see Dave Lombardo still putting out good music instead of just releasing shit and fading out of the public eye.

4.5 superb | cocomoloco | September 20th 14 | never having heard PHILM before this album kinda sounds like a mix of a not-so-dry Slayer (huge
surprise right) and Every Time I Die-esque party metal. Classic headbanger's metal without any
real surprises. Simply extremely solid.

4.5 superb | Manet | September 18th 14 | This album was a pleasant surprise. Their debut album didn't catch my ears when it first came out, but my ears enjoyed it more when I checked it out again a couple of weeks ago. Now this one comes out of nowhere (I didn't pay enough attention) and makes my ears instantly happy. I didn't have any expectations for it, but I really loved it from start to finish! This album is so fun, and to me, original rock that it deserves a lot of sales and groupies. Bravo
