It sounds like this time, St Etienne had other things on their mind than making a new excellent album. They could have made a MUCH better new album but, for some reason this time, they didn't want to. So instead we have a trendy dance pop album with weak, often uninspired vocals and lyrics, unnecessary autotune insertions and simplistic compositions to leave a die hard Saint Etienne fan, a little empty inside. Still, it's perhaps better than other like-minded mainstream dance rubbish.
