The duel vocalists are but to good use on this album, there are two different styles, high pitched falsettos, and a mid ranged scream/growlish. The guitarwork on the album is killer. The dish out really cool sounding riffs at fast speeds. The lyrics are cheesy, but hey thats the way I like them. |

| Tech Death Metal is what Necrophagist does and they do it well. The lyrics are nothing special for this cd, but it really doesn't matter in Necrophagist's case the music speaks for itself. The growls are really deep and extremely brutal. The guitars are amazingly technical and have no flaws whatsoever in my eyes. Its hard to believe that one man could record all this by himself. Muhammed is without a doubt a genius. This is a must have for fans of death metal or any kind of technical music, this will always be one of my personal favorite albums. |

The most brutal out of all of the Cannibal Corpse album to date, and in my opinion a classic. The lyrics are typical death metal lyrics, gore filled and they do what they were made to do, they put extremely graphic pictures in your head. The riffs are very catchy, this is most noticable on Hammer Smashed Face. The vocals are really deep brutal grunts, and to me they were really easy to understand.
