Tool Lateralus
Tool are one of the most unique and innovative bands of all time and "Lateralus" is there most coveted album. It's damn near flawless all the way through. Keenan is definitely on top of his vocal game. His flat vocals suiting the damp music style. Adam Jones also had an excellent showing. Lots of great bridges and riffs throughout. The bass and drums were also splendid. An all around 'classic' album. Hence the five.

Alice in Chains Alice in Chains
Alice In Chains were one of the most popular bands of the nineties. Unfortunately they disbanded at the turn of the century. But's we'll always have their work from the nineties. This particular album is actually a tad different from their usual style. While it is still dark, like their usual work, but it's not quite as dark. They showed a lot more experimentation with this album which was great. I enjoyed all aspects of this album. Even staley's vocals, which I'm usually not big on. The lyrical messages were great too. Very solid album.

Metallica Reload
This album isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. It's far from great compared to metallica's earlier works, but it's not too bad either. People often crucify it just because iy has a more hard rock sound to it. But just because it sin't thrash metal doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. I actually really enjoy alot of the solos from this album. They're more FX orientated, so lots of them sound really cool. James' vocals are also splendid, especially in " The Unforgiven II"

James Blunt Back To Bedlam
James Blunt has the most annoying voice in the world, in my opinion at least. It's just so damn high pitched. And he's one of those singers that just don't have a good high pitched voice. Some people can get buy, like the singer from AC/DC, but not this guy. His vocals completely sour me from this album. Considering the instrumentals were not as bad as the vocals, but still mediocre at best and the lyrics were lame I just cannot give this above a 2.

1.5 very poor
Atreyu Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses
Bland instrumentals. Screaming that sounds like burping. Terrible clean vocals. Mediocre bass and drums. This is Atreyu. They are undoubtably one of the worst bands ever. Aside from all the things I mentioned above the can't right lyrics either. Here's and example.
It's so hard to see when eyes are rollin in the back of your head. It's even harder to speak when everything you say just comes out wrong.
Like really nice work guys. I've got another one for you. It's hard to walk with no legs! These guys have showed some improvement from this point in their career, but this album just can't receive anything higher than a 1.5

Paris Hilton Paris
Paris Hilton has to be one of the most useless people on the planet. Famous for being famous Paris cannot act, we know that. This album has also provided proof that she can't sing either. Her voice is extremely generic, her lyrics are just plain bad and and both those things are amplified by the fact that she goes on and on about how supposedly great this album is. I also find it extermely hard to believe that she had any say in the actual music for this album, which is the only aspect that kept this album from getting a one.
Trivium The Crusade

1.0 awful
50 Cent Get Rich or Die Tryin'
Ashlee Simpson Autobiography
Ashlee Simpson is just not good. Her songs are boring and repetitive, the lyrics make very little sense and she couldn't sing her way out of a paper bag. her voice is all studio and even with that it doesn't sound very good. The only reason she's even singing is to try and steal spotlight from her sister because she's jealous of all the attention Jessica gets. To sum this up: This album is garbage, utter garbage.
