Pink Floyd
The Division Bell
Basically a David Gilmour album, as well last Floyd album as such. Clearly, not a masterpiece, due to many known reasons, nevertheless in my opion it is very accesable, maybe even commerical in comparison to classic era Floyd from late 60's till late 70's. Album has some personal favorites, like Take It Back, Keep Talking, High Hopes and What Do You Want From Me. It is one of those albums, that I preffer to listen one a year, not more - it somehow captures the time and greatness of the band.

The Who
My Generation: The Very Best of the Who
Amazing compilation from one of the greatest rock bands ever! Pure energy from opening I Can't Explain till You Better You Bet covering the colorful career of true rock pioneers. In opinion, The Who have not dated as some other bands from the 60's era, they're not boring or scientific, they're active, live and electric. Personally, they are my favorite in comparison to the Beatles, The Stones and The Kinks.

Twisted Sister
Big Hits and Nasty Cuts
I rememmber listening this on casette with side a being the hits and side b having mostly the powerful live cuts. Actually after listening to this compilation took a step towards exploring the individual albums. Powerfull 80's glam/hair metal song staples together with rough intensity of early material songs. By listening to many that era bands, in my opinion TS had their specific style, attitude and real ability to perform. For more satisfaction would suggest Under The Blade and You Can't Stop Rock N Roll albums.

Pink Floyd
The Wall
The Wall actually exists on various levels. When it was released, it had not only musical, but also political and social impact. From band's perspective, surely it was Roger Waters project inside the Pink Floyd machine and therefore it has mixed responses from fans, critics and similar artists. rPersonally I had three phases with the album;rONE. Listening to the album it gave me the huge musical playing field that Waters wanted to accomplish and represent. The lyrics are haunting, deep, self-destructive and wise. TWO. After seeing the movie I was given the opportunity to put together music with film, thus giving even more depth to the "Wall s

Aerosmith
Greatest Hits
Not really an Aerosmith fan, but this early compilation has its moments showing the band's class by their own songs and covers. At least 3 or 4 songs are still played at classic rock oriented stations or by default make various "best of" lists, thus the quality and longitivity is surely there.

Lookin' for Trouble
Great Canadian band from early 80's with playing radio friendly songs crossing into pop/rock territory. Had following and success at home and were eager to dent the US market. Classic songs and personal favorites on album - Even The Score, 5035, Tie Me Down, Lookin' For Trouble and Shot Down.

Super Hits
Although contains the main hits of the band, somehow falls short of representing the many albums band had, especially the rougher sound of early albums. Anyhow, good for casual fan, more dedicated fan should look for better compilation.
