  • yourgodisinferior I mean the quality is there for the 380s. There isn't a lot of fatique with heavy listening sessions at high volume. There is also higher impedance with the 280's, so you maybe won't get quite as much volume. The 380's are pretty crystal clear and very accurate if you like that. Also, they are pretty comfortable. Not totally sure if the price difference is worth it though. It's totally up to you and how much you're willing to spend.

  • JWT155 For $100 for the HD280's I think it's worth the extra investment for the M50's, I use them all day at work and most of the time they're comfortable, occasionally though it's nice to not have them on my head and maybe I'll use earbuds but overall they're a comfy, snug but not to tight pair of headphones with a very round sound.

  • Spag Glad you like it, I'd also recommend the Shadow Gallery album I recently rated. It's solid as hell. :]

  • ksoflas DT after Train of Thought constantly dissapoint me but Fates are always there to keep the prog metal flag high. I'm excited too for the new FW album but I am more excited about the new album of Pain of Salvation which will be based to Perfect Element and Remedy Lane. Can't wait fot it!

  • ksoflas I agree that Zonder is the best drummer but Tate at his prime was better than Alder for me. All three of them are huge prog bands along with one of my favorite bands Savatage and many more.
