  • dannyboy89 With Metallica I just think they declined fast and turned their music into generic drivel over time (especially after TBA, which at least has some decent songs, even though I think it's mediocre). But again, that's my opinion.

  • dannyboy89 I think the reason most people dismiss the band post-PL (some even post-Empire or post-Mindcrime) is because they hate the fact that the band changed its sound from prog-metal to a more simplistic sound. That's understandable, but I think they at least did it in a manageable manner (personal view ofc). Unlike Metallica...

  • dannyboy89 Dude I gotta give you props, most people (prob in general) don't even bother to give post-PL Queensryche a chance. Yes, they did decline after that album for the most part, I don't deny it, but some of the post-PL stuff is fairly enjoyable imo. I think most people dismiss it because it sounds different. And yeah, Mindcrime II and especially DtC suck balls. DtC is one of those albums that you can hear for lolz, and then never again (bar Get Started, which is a guilty pleasure of mine).

  • Mad. Wtf man Gazpacho aren't neo-prog at all, they've got a much more original sound. Also, you can't get the whole of Gazpacho from one album, each one is different
