Twenty Sixteen

I've put out a decent amount this year and wanted to create this list to basically just self-promote my shit a bit and tell you my plans for the rest of 2016. Firstly, this is all my stuff from this year with brief descriptions of the concepts at play on each; I will take some time off to plan my next release, which won't be out until sometime next year. In the meantime, I'm acting as producer for some new musicians that are creating a work under the Count to Altek name, and this will be the first time I don't contribute instrumentally to a CtA project. That will be out sometime this year, and I am incredibly excited for this new opportunity. Thanks to all those folks who have followed and supported my stuff; never would've expected such a response, and am incredibly grateful for you.
1Millicent Waffles
nokturnus: trinity

The final chapter in the 'nokturnus trilogy', this album was inspired by illuminated manuscripts and the abstract imagery found within them, and reflects a golden world of strange beasts and malevolent children.
2King Green
The Moon Has Fallen

The ghostly inhabitants of a mythical land called Hildevot go into chaotic paranoia and self-induced religious hallucinations, as they fear the black moon that orbits their land is descending upon them.
3Millicent Waffles
Broken Lantern in the Graceless Elps

An ancient scribe is tasked with cataloging the plant and bird species around his native kingdom, and unexpectedly undergoes a biological and psychological transformation after eating a strange root.
4Count to Altek
Heliodon Over Petrified Evergreens

Loosely inspired by tales such as Atlantis, a young boy and his father are tranported into a world of towering, dinosaur-like beasts called Heliodons; creatures with eyes that glow fiery blue and have magic powers.
5Millicent Waffles
My Lord's Poison in Darkfire Illusion

A story of an alien priest named Nijobi who is involved in a cult based on the Bible, where humans are eaten in order to gain divinity; Nijobi becomes uncontrollably entranced by the taste of blood and is dubbed a heretic among his people.
