'still Waiting For...'-albums In 2010
Here's a list of my 'Still to come'-records in 2010. This is what I'm stoked for: |
1 | | Minus The Bear Omni
Expecting nothing more than a new reference. Epicness. After I will have listened to this album for the first time I want myself to be saying, 'I just realised how awesomely awesome my life is'.(Barney quote) |
2 | | The Destiny Program Gathas
The only hope for german metalcore. Will it survive, or will it die poorly with all the other crappy bands that were once good: Heaven Shall Burn, Maroon, Caliban etc...High hopes over here. "Avesta" on MySpace is awesome. |
3 | | Misery Signals unknown title
Maybe you did not know it was coming - I talked to Karl myself: it is. The writing process is about 60% done. 'Expect something huge'. Mark his words. |
4 | | Conditions Flourescent Youth
I loved this band from the start and I hope their first full-length can hold the high level of their three DIY-Ep's. Very nice alternative rock combo with some little post-hardcore elements, fully loaded with tons of awesome hooks and choruses. |
5 | | Lower Definition unknown title
"The Greatest Of All Lost Arts" was one of the best post-hardcore releases of all time - technically beautiful, awesome guitarwork and the range of Matt Geise was sheer epic. I have really high expectations for the new album and from what I've heard on YouTube we won't be disappointed guys...just listen to their jam sessions in the hot topic store, or to their recording videos on various sites. Just classy. |
6 | | The Ghost Inside Returners
Expecting the best overall hardcore release in 2010. Nothing less. |
7 | | This Or The Apocalypse unknown title
Expecting TotA to be the first band beating ABR in terms of technique and coevally catchiness. We will see if this attempt fails or not. |
8 | | Mae (E)vening
Loved (M)orning, enjoyed (A)fternoon, hoping (E)vening to become a good conclusion. From what I've heard on MySpace this is not a real keen assumption. |
9 | | Circa Survive Blue Sky Noise
In my opinion the two new songs rule and taste like a yummy scoop. Let's see if the record delivers some extra ice cream. |
10 | | Azriel unknown title
Saw them live, talked to them and found their new material to be quite charming. Even though I did not like their first record, I will most certainly give the new one a try. |
11 | | Emarosa unknown title
Jonny Craig has an awesome voice and so I'm pretty much interested if his new album will be somewhat less generic and boring then "Relativity". Even though I hyped it at first, there is very much room left. |
12 | | A Skylit Drive unknown title
ASD managed to become worse and worse over the years. "Adelphia" was shockingly generic and overproduced. I can only hope that their fourth output (third studio album) will follow the "Alesana-trail" and bethink of the oldschool emocore (they played on "She Watched The Sky"). |
13 | | VersaEmerge unknown title
This will be > Paramore. Mark my words, haters :> |
14 | | Ill Nino unknown title
They become more and more generic but I always manage to find something great in every album they produce, I dunno why. Maybe the new one will grow on me, too - or finally kick me out of the "fan" status. |
15 | | Legend Valediction
Easily the best moshcore output in 2010. All present tracks on MySpace are killer and all haters and fakebands can suck the balls of ex-For The Fallen Dreams shouter Chad Ruhlig when this record is out. I'm sorry but I'm a sucker for breakdowns. And Legend is the incarnation of breakdowns. |
16 | | Beneath The Sky In Loving Memory
Liked the first album(nice DIY-oldschool metalcore), hated the second. Hoping for some oldschool movement over here, too. Or for a wonder of some newschool adoptions from good mc bands (ABR, Texas In July, FtfD). |
17 | | Limp Bizkit Gold Cobra
haha. had to say this ,D |
