British Comedians

British comedy, one of the funniest types out there (possibly the funniest). The list has comedians of various styles as well as on various platforms. The list is not in order.
1King Crimson
Red

FRANKIE BOYLE
Brutal, pusher of boundaries, and not afraid to look at the more grim aspects of our world. A comedian who genuinely looks like he doesn't give a shit about what people think of him, and that may possibly be his greatest asset.

2Yes
Relayer

LEE MACK
One of the sharpest comedians I have ever seen. The guy is so damn good at picking holes in arguments and mocking the hell out of the person for leaving holes in the first place. Stand up, sitcom, panel shows, he's done 'em all.

3The Doors
Strange Days

CHARLIE BROOKER
One of the masters of the intelligent rant. He analyses most of the pictures emerging from our screens under a microscope and then begins to rip most of them to shreds while occasionally finding something he genuinely enjoys. He also takes a look behind the scenes and thus completes a 360 degree view of the world of TV.

4Porcupine Tree
Deadwing

JIMMY CARR
A comedian who prefers the one liner style of comedy, and why wouldn't he? Again another comedian that has dark and abrasive jokes. Not for the faint hearted.

5Deep Purple
Fireball

RICKY GERVAIS
I fell in love with his dialogue delivery almost immediately. Deadpan humour is something the Brits have mastered, and it is just fantastic. He's at his best during his stand up shows.

6Black Sabbath
Master of Reality

ROWAN ATKINSON
Whether it's physical comedy or intelligent sketch comedy, hyperactive or deadpan humour, Rowan Atkinson does them all.

7Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

KARL PILKINTON
Master of the deadpan or just plain aloof? We may never find out, all I know is that he is absolutely brilliant. I don't think I've ever seen someone utter so many random hilarious comments before. The fact that he teams up with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant regularly makes for an ideal comedy setting.

8Queen
Queen II

GRAHAM NORTON
I don't think I've willingly watched a talk show this much ever. Graham is incredibly sharp and is incredibly good at bringing guests with different backgrounds and passing hilarious comments about each while keeping the others immersed in the conversation
9Judas Priest
Stained Class

JEREMY CLARKSON
Obnoxious, loud, and obsessed with POWEEEEEER. He might offend a lot of people, but his comic timing is undeniable. It helps that I love cars.
