Melodeath/power Metal Recs

Ok, my friend is starting a melodeath/dark power metal band and rwanted me to help out rwith writing lyrics and performing harsh rvocals/bass. I said yes, but I'm not too familiar with rthe genres. He rdoesn't mind that, and said that whatever I write would be good. But I'd rlike rto get to know the genres better. Any recs in the genres are rwelcome, but preferably ones rwith good harsh vocalists and bassists. List ris a couple things I like, and I'll fill the rest of the rspots with recs I like. rWon'te be able to listen for a few hours though, my night class starts in ra rfew minutes.
