Wednesdays With Sowing

Snow days are just as much fun for teachers as they are for students, in case you were wondering. Time to catch up on lesson plans and catch up on life in the sputnik community. I'll be here all afternoon, folks! What's on your mind? List is digs.
1Steven Wilson
The Raven That Refused To Sing

My latest prog obsession; better than anything he did with Porcupine Tree.
2Foals
Holy Fire

Not their best album but still great. Say what you will about Inhaler, it's catchy as hell.
3How to Destroy Angels
Welcome Oblivion

I wasn't a fan of their work at first, but this album is glorious. Can't stop listening.
4David Bowie
The Next Day

Haven't heard this yet but I'm super pumped, even if he's technically old news.
5The Lumineers
The Lumineers

That one song of theirs get raped every day by the radio, but I don't mind.
6Andrew Bird
Break It Yourself

The sheer brilliance of this album took a while to kick in, but now that it's 2013 I can't get enough of it. 'Hole In The Ocean Floor' is a must-listen.
7Air Review
Low Wishes

This is still good, even if Irving over hyped it to high hell.
8Silversun Pickups
Neck of the Woods

It's been a long time since I found an album where I could listen to every single song and not get bored.
9Shearwater
Animal Joy

The giant paw on the front cover had me sold. Seriously though, this is nice.
10Papercranes
Three

Still boggles my mind that more people haven't gotten into this.
