Echo and The Bunnymen

Formed in Liverpool in 1978, Echo & the Bunnymen are a long-enduring post-punk band lead by vocalist Ian McCulloch. They enjoyed reasonable success in the 1980s before issuing a series of flop albums. The groups received notableattention with the feature of their hit song 'The Killing Moon' in the cult film Donnie Darko, which coincided well withan 80s-music resurgence early in the twenty-first century. After a four-year recording gap, Echo & the Bunnymenreleased their latest record in 2005, entitled Siberia.
