Echo and The Bunnymen

Formed in Liverpool in 1978, Echo & the Bunnymen are a long-enduring post-punk band lead by vocalist Ian McCulloch. They enjoyed reasonable success in the 1980s before issuing a series of flop albums. The group received notable attention with the feature of their hit song "The Killing Moon" in the cult film Donnie Darko, which coincided well with an '80s-music resurgence early in the twenty-first century. After a four year recording gap, Echo & the Bunnymen released an album in 2005, entitled Siberia. They followed by releasing The Fountain in 2009, and Meteorites in 2014.
