Echo and The Bunnymen
Post Punk

Formed in Liverpool in 1978, Echo & the Bunnymen are a long-enduring post-punk band lead by vocalist Ian McCulloch. They enjoyed reasonable success in the 1980s before issuing a series of flop albums. The groups received notable attention with the feature of their hit song 'The Killing Moon' in the cult film Donnie Darko, which coincided well with an 80s-music resurgence early in the twenty-first century. After a four-year recording gap, Echo & the Bunnymen released their latest record in 2005, entitled Siberia.
