  • dannyboy89 How would you compare and contrast Tarantino's style with that of the Coen Brothers?

  • dannyboy89 I finished watching Jackie Brown. Interesting to note that it's the first Tarantino film with a single main character, as opposed to RD and PF. Kinda makes the connection to the KB films in that sense. I don't know if it can be said that IB has a single main character.

  • dannyboy89 Yeah, the Jewish girl in IB and Uma Thurman in KB (also an interesting role in Pulp Fiction). I started watching JB yesterday, looks sweet, and I've yet to see Death Proof.

  • dannyboy89 Given that you love Tarantino movies, there's a couple things about his style I'd like to discuss. First, it's interesting to note that Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and Inglorious Basterds all start with a table conversation. Second, Pulp Fiction, the Kill Bill films, and Inglorious Basterds are all divided in chapters. Any other common threads you've noticed in Tarantino movies?

  • Angelboros That and The Pod are the only two albums I have left to Czech. To be honest, at one point, I tried listening to GodWeenSatan all the way through - but gave up for some reason. Probably wasn't in the mood.
