Mudvayne were a very big part in the nu-metal wave that hit a few years back. They released their first album "Kill, I Oughta" in 1997 independently and were later picked up by Epic and released their first major label album L.D. 50. The major label debut is widely-considered a nu-metal masterpiece. Mudvayne used to wear makeup and go by odd surnames such as Kud, Gurgg, Spag, and Ryknow. Lost And Found has just been released, in which the band members decided to get rid of costumes and make up. Recently, A New Game was released, as the first half of a double album.
