The groups received notable attention with the feature of their hit song 'The Killing Moon' in the cult film Donnie Darko, which coincided well with an 80s-music resurgence early in the twenty-first century. After a four-year recording gap, Echo & the Bunnymen released their latest record in 2005, entitled Siberia.
