I really like this. It's a shame Langhorne Slim hasn't found a bigger audience. His first two albums aren't the best but I really love the self titled. He has a great, unique voice and way of writing a song. Kind of reminds me of a young Dylan...rAnyway, good music folks. Give it a listen.

I hereby publicly eat my words. The lyrics, if you dig deep enough, can turn up some incredibly abstract meanings, and frankly some of the actual music here is astounding. I definite grower, as ashamed as I am to admit. rCalgary is intense. And maybe my favorite song of the year.
AJJ Knife Man4.5
Really excellent. Love the new sound they're going with. rMight even review this...

Seriously one of the best albums ever, and yes better'n Surfer Rosa. I mean come on, fucking Gouge Away? Transcendent. Just unbelievably good, really.
Bob Dylan Bringing It All Back Home5.0
Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea5.0
Over the years this has probably become my favorite album. Ever. rIn my opinion, it's a haunting work of unadulterated genius.
Bob Dylan Blood on the Tracks5.0
Bob Dylan Highway 61 Revisited5.0
