I hereby publicly eat my words. The lyrics, if you dig deep enough, can turn up some incredibly abstract meanings, and frankly some of the actual music here is astounding. I definite grower, as ashamed as I am to admit. rCalgary is intense. And maybe my favorite song of the year.
Deltron 3030 Deltron 3030
Fleet Foxes Fleet Foxes
Langhorne Slim Langhorne Slim
I really like this. It's a shame Langhorne Slim hasn't found a bigger audience. His first two albums aren't the best but I really love the self titled. He has a great, unique voice and way of writing a song. Kind of reminds me of a young Dylan...rAnyway, good music folks. Give it a listen.
