We Were Sharks Not A Chance | 4.0 |
These guys deliver a great Canadian Pop punk sound mixed with memorable choruses and riffy verses. |
State Champs Around the World and Back | 4.0 |
Wstr Skrwd | 3.5 |
Neck Deep Life's Not Out To Get You | 4.0 |
Jarrod Alonge Beating a Dead Horse | 5.0 |
A modern music comedy classic. Ironically this is also the most nostalgic album I have ever listened to, being a time capsule of "scene" music for the last ten years. No matter what you listen (or listened) to you should find something to laugh, cringe, and enjoy here. |
Stevie T Album of Epicness | 3.5 |
It's a comedy album of scene music, what do you expect? He obviously knows his way around a fretboard but these songs will be hit or miss depending on if you know what he's making fun of or not. Also while the production isn't the best, this is still a fun parody album from a talented musician. |
Hit the Lights Summer Bones | 4.0 |
The Bad Chapter Cheers To the Down and Outs | 3.0 |
Phil Druyor is the main draw to this band. They don't have the killer guitar or lyrical work of I Am Abomination, but this band is so different it should not even be compared. Fans of Issues should instantly dig this, as well as anyone that enjoys metalcore with RnB mixed in. |

Blood on the Dance Floor Blood Unplugged | 1.0 |
We The Kings Somewhere Somehow | 2.0 |
We The Kings strip away all their talent just to focus on Travis' voice and to make music for the mainstream and not themselves. Just the fact that this band was dropped from their label, couldn't find another one and had to crowd fund this album is saying something... |
Whether, I Dreamcatcher | 3.0 |
Good debut EP from a band with a lot of potential. The vocals sound very Kellin Quinn-esque at times and the screams remind me of some other bands. Sadly, other than their good use of electronics with clean guitar riffs there's not a lot that separates these guys from so many other bands in the scene. Hopefully we'll see some creativity, maturity, and originality in their next release. |
Ghost Town (US) Party in the Graveyard (Reissue) | 2.0 |
Very Breathe Carolina-ish just with a distorted electric guitar thrown into the mix. Overall the songs are bland, boring, and uninspired. If you like electronica bands like BC you may enjoy this band/album, but this just isn't for me. |
Get Scared Everyone's Out To Get Me | 3.5 |
Various Artists (Punk) Punk Goes Christmas | 3.0 |
Fall Out Boy PAX AM Days | 2.0 |
Divided by Friday Modern Memoirs | 3.0 |
Divided By Friday move away from their pop punk roots and create their own mainstream pop rock sound. Gone are the distorted guitars and riffs, and in are the pianos, strings, and choirs. Lyrically the band matures but I find the musical style change to be a negative for this band, as it leads them to sound even more like modern Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco. But if you're fans of either of those bands (new material or old), I highly recommend listening to these guys' music. |
Panic! at the Disco Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! | 2.5 |
Mayday Parade Monsters in the Closet | 3.5 |
A Day To Remember Common Courtesy | 4.0 |
State Champs The Finer Things | 4.5 |
Hearts and Hands My Own Machine | 4.0 |
Excellent album, with solid instrumentation and vocals. Lyrics deal with everything from girls to God to suicide. The overall message of the album is to be yourself for yourself which is great, but still a little clich?. The guitar, vocal, and drum work are superb, although the lyrics can be a little repetitive at times. The tempo of the songs never reach the speed of their first EP, and there's a lot less screaming, but this album blows their first release out of the water if you give it the chance. |
Veara Growing Up Is Killing Me | 3.5 |
Stages and Stereos Small Town Favorites | 3.5 |
Great alternative rock and vocal work from the brother of Go Radio's frontman. |
Five For Fighting Bookmarks | 2.5 |
This album was just boring piano/acoustic soft rock tracks with hit or miss vocals. Maybe it's just not my type of music... |
Farewell, My Love Gold Tattoos | 2.5 |
Tonight Alive The Other Side | 3.5 |
Rise Against Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers 2000-2013 | 4.5 |
Blood on the Dance Floor Bad Blood | 1.0 |
Blessthefall Hollow Bodies | 3.5 |
Yellowcard Ocean Avenue (Acoustic) | 4.0 |
Beartooth Sick | 3.5 |
These Hearts Yours To Take | 4.0 |
These guys pull off easycore very well. I didn't care for the first two songs or war since they were just generic metalcore songs, but come to the third track and beyond this is a great easycore album, all-be-it pretty short (excluding my 3 disliked songs there's only 28 minutes of music left).rThis band has also well matured past any of their previous released. With better vocals and solid musicianship, any metalcore, pop punk, or easycore listener should find something to enjoy in this release. |
Breathe Carolina Bangers Mixtape | 3.0 |
Mistakes is the only notable track off of this EP, so much so I believe it's being including in their Savages LP. |
Forever the Sickest Kids J.A.C.K. | 3.5 |
Set It Off Cinematics (Reissue) | 4.0 |
Took me a while to get into this band/album, but once I did I don't regret it. Cody is an amazing frontman both in the studio and on stage, but this album offers much more than his voice. From great orchestral arrangements to catchy hooks to sick guitar riffs, this band throws something new and energetic into the pop punk scene. |
Falling in Reverse Fashionably Late | 2.5 |
The Maine Forever Halloween | 3.5 |
Rise Against RPM10 | 4.5 |
Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! Pardon My French | 3.0 |
The Summer Set Legendary | 1.5 |
Fall Out Boy Save Rock and Roll | 2.5 |
Paramore Paramore | 3.0 |
Cartel Collider | 4.5 |
Tear Out The Heart Violence | 2.5 |
Overall this album was just boring to me. The instrumentals were uninspired, and the only reason I have this a 2.5 was for the good clean choruses, but they're not worth listening to since the remaining parts of the songs are crap. Hell even These Hearts put out a better album in 2013 than these guys. |
Neck Deep A History of Bad Decisions | 3.0 |
Silverstein This Is How the Wind Shifts | 4.0 |
We The Kings Friday Is Forever | 2.5 |
Ice Nine Kills The Predator | 3.0 |
Black Veil Brides Wretched and Divine | 3.0 |
Farewell, My Love Mirror Mirror | 2.5 |
