Jarrod Alonge Beating a Dead Horse
A modern music comedy classic. Ironically this is also the most nostalgic album I have ever listened to, being a time capsule of "scene" music for the last ten years. No matter what you listen (or listened) to you should find something to laugh, cringe, and enjoy here.

The amount of love put into this album is amazing. From the passionate vocals, sweeping guitar riffs and heavy chugs, to the fast pace drums and inspiring concept lyrics this is my favorite metalcore/concept album of it's time.

This album at first seems very unimpressive in the pop punk genre and very similar to bands like Hey Monday and Paramore, but give the singles a few listens, then the whole album a spin or two and it really grows on you!
We Are The In Crowd Weird Kids
WATIC not only matured, but they grew as a band both in their musical styling and lyrics. This albums gives us a different side of WATIC that has not been shown in either of their other releases, and it's great to see a band express themselves in their music as they actually are themselves; as well as to craft an album for themselves, by themselves. This album isn't going to change the world, let alone the music scene, but give it a listen, you'll definitely enjoy it.

Excellent album, with solid instrumentation and vocals. Lyrics deal with everything from girls to God to suicide. The overall message of the album is to be yourself for yourself which is great, but still a little clich?. The guitar, vocal, and drum work are superb, although the lyrics can be a little repetitive at times. The tempo of the songs never reach the speed of their first EP, and there's a lot less screaming, but this album blows their first release out of the water if you give it the chance.

Took me a while to get into this band/album, but once I did I don't regret it. Cody is an amazing frontman both in the studio and on stage, but this album offers much more than his voice. From great orchestral arrangements to catchy hooks to sick guitar riffs, this band throws something new and energetic into the pop punk scene.

These guys pull off easycore very well. I didn't care for the first two songs or war since they were just generic metalcore songs, but come to the third track and beyond this is a great easycore album, all-be-it pretty short (excluding my 3 disliked songs there's only 28 minutes of music left).rThis band has also well matured past any of their previous released. With better vocals and solid musicianship, any metalcore, pop punk, or easycore listener should find something to enjoy in this release.

Critical and Remedy are excellent songs, but sound better on their LP. Tonsil Hockey is very short and forgettable. We Are The Brave is the only standout track of this release, although I don't care too much for it.
Stevie T Album of Epicness
It's a comedy album of scene music, what do you expect? He obviously knows his way around a fretboard but these songs will be hit or miss depending on if you know what he's making fun of or not. Also while the production isn't the best, this is still a fun parody album from a talented musician.

3 Doors Down Away from the Sun
5 Seconds of Summer She Looks So Perfect
Decent EP by an up-and-coming pop rock band. I see some potential in these guys. But only time will tell if they choose to differentiate themselves from the sellout pop rock groups like The Jonas Brothers or One Direction, or become something greater. Granted I'm hoping for the latter because these guys seem to have much more edge/maturity and their not backed by Disney/young fangirls.

Wooly, Sweat It Out, and Lauren's Song are the best tracks in my opinion. While the other songs are catchy. The lack of good instrumentation and slower beats just bore me. Top that off with terrible lyrics (usually about sex or partying) and I'm just gonna stay away from the other tracks.

Mistakes is the only notable track off of this EP, so much so I believe it's being including in their Savages LP.

Divided by Friday Modern Memoirs
Divided By Friday move away from their pop punk roots and create their own mainstream pop rock sound. Gone are the distorted guitars and riffs, and in are the pianos, strings, and choirs. Lyrically the band matures but I find the musical style change to be a negative for this band, as it leads them to sound even more like modern Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco. But if you're fans of either of those bands (new material or old), I highly recommend listening to these guys' music.

Good debut EP from a band with a lot of potential. The vocals sound very Kellin Quinn-esque at times and the screams remind me of some other bands. Sadly, other than their good use of electronics with clean guitar riffs there's not a lot that separates these guys from so many other bands in the scene. Hopefully we'll see some creativity, maturity, and originality in their next release.

Overall this album was just boring to me. The instrumentals were uninspired, and the only reason I have this a 2.5 was for the good clean choruses, but they're not worth listening to since the remaining parts of the songs are crap. Attack Attack! If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?
Ya know, does this demo EP really deserve such hate? Because that's all it is: a demo. AA made this because, it was the best option they had available to them to give to record companies for them to see through the crappy production and see the thrashy-metalcore-techno that this band is, and hey, it worked, so this is just the crappy first demo EP that every band starts out with.
