This is damn good. Really damn good brutal death with a bunch of added weird chords and some fantastic riffs and occasionally effective ambient sounds.
Six Feet Under Unborn2.5
Rotting Christ Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy4.0
Feared Furor Incarnatus3.0
A pretty decent album. Ola can produce some excellent melodic moments, and some occasionally very brutal ones, but it can lose itself in some poorer, more monotonous riffs. That said, it can be pretty groovy.

The initial surprise has worn off on me. It's okay, but not great.

Cynic Carbon-Based Anatomy4.0

Megadeth Th1rt3en3.5
Seems that the lack of Sneap has let Dave have a mid-life crisis on a couple of tracks. Never Dead, Deadly Nightshade, New World Order, Fast Lane, Black Swan, and a few moments on Public Enemy are fun, catchy and thrashy, but some songs here are either familiar returns or dull.
Evile Five Serpent's Teeth3.5
Blotted Science The Animation of Entomology4.5
Warbringer Worlds Torn Asunder4.0
I'm actually a little surprised that people don't like this more. The songwriting is generally strong and it's surprisingly original, and the drums are great.
Machine Head Unto the Locust3.0
Vader Welcome To The Morbid Reich3.5
When I get a decent opportunity I'll review this. I'm certainly impressed.
Anthrax Worship Music3.5
Taking it down a bit as I'm Alive ticks me off.rIn The End is extremely good though.

Sodom In War And Pieces3.5
Suicidal Angels Dead Again4.0
I liked this. It's another decent thrash revival album.
Helstar Glory Of Chaos3.5
Some of the tracks here are so awesome, but overall it's pretty inconsistent.
Forbidden Omega Wave4.0
Another competent return to form like a lot of the old thrashers. Pretty formidable guitar work.
Annihilator Total Annihilation3.5
They're not Annihilator's best tracks, but this gives you some nice songs like Back To The Palace and Ultraparanoia for free.
Death Angel Relentless Retribution3.0
Accept Blood Of The Nations4.0
Bonded by Blood Exiled to Earth3.0
Exodus Exhibit B: The Human Condition4.0
Annihilator Annihilator2.0
This sucks because of those god-awful lyrics as well as those dumb stop-start dynamics the band abuses.
Mithras Sands Of Time4.0
Overkill Ironbound4.5

2009
Reciprocal Reciprocal2.0
Vektor Black Future3.5
Hugely impressive progressive thrash album. I haven't heard Demolition but this rips far beyond other extreme thrash releases like Inventor Of Evil. Funnily enough it reminds me of a mix of Destruction (drums and vocals, some riffs), Metallica (Most of the riffs) and Voivod (the progressiveness).
Gama Bomb Tales From the Grave in Space3.5
Reminds me of Anthrax mixed with some random hyperactive thrash band. I liked it.
Vader Necropolis3.5
Hexen State of Insurgency4.0
Blood Tsunami Grand Feast For Vultures3.5
Warbringer Waking Into Nightmares4.0
Ulcerate Everything Is Fire4.0
Viraemia Viraemia3.0
What separates this from the rest of the wank pack is that it actually has decently structured songs and some memorable riffs. It isn't brilliant but it's certainly better than crap like Brain Drill.
Kreator Hordes Of Chaos3.5

Machine Head The Blackening3.0
Destruction Thrash Anthems4.0
Release From Agony kicks ass when remastered, as does Cracked Brain.
Pathosray Pathosray4.0
The intro track is great, and the proper ones are brilliant too.rVocalist is completely inappropriate though, sound like the one from Tankard to an extent.

2006
Agressor Deathreat4.0
Hooray for death metal bands no-one has heard of. This has some really great material.
Deluge Grander August In The Urals4.5
Flotsam and Jetsam Dreams of Death2.5
Straight To Hell is fairly okay, but the rest is one big pile of meh, poorly produced metal.
Metal Church A Light in the Dark3.5
Disappear is pretty good, and overall this is an album full of catchy riffs, vocals are weaker than on the earlier albums though.
Abysmal Torment Epoch of Methodic Carnage4.0
Unleashed Midvinterblot3.5

2005

2004
Illdisposed 1 800 Vindication3.5
Annihilator All for You2.0
Dave Padden ruins this band. The vocals are made even worse because of the terrible lyrics on this and later albums.
Annihilator The One2.0
The vocals put me off in less than a second. Padden's voice was made for evil growls, not this.
Anubis Gate Purification3.0

Damn, I was writing a review for this but got logged out. More of a hard rock album IMO, Scott doesn't do very good riffs.

Gemini is still a cool song due to the eerie nature of it. The covers aren't too bad either.
Overkill The Killing Kind3.0
I liked Feeding Frenzy but there is a lot of stale riffing here.
Cryptopsy None So Vile5.0
Rage Lingua Mortis4.0
This is actually a brilliant metal CD, and the version of In A Nameless Time on here is much better than the one on Black In Mind.

Carcass Swansong3.5

1994
Brutal Truth Need To Control4.5
Testament Low3.5
Dream Theater Awake4.5
Demolition Hammer Time Bomb3.0
This is pretty average. Not that awful though. Stale riffs, generic Groove metal style, but aggressive vocals and occasional double bass and thrashyness is fun.

There's a bit of power metal influence on this one but it thrashes mostly. It's solid, got good bits and bad bits. Not as good as "Wrong Time, Wrong Place?" and "The Prophecy", the latter of which is admittedly a bit of a one hit wonder with its opener.

A decent attempt for a new album without their key member but the new vocalist for the album is way worse than Schmier. Production is pretty bad compared to Release From Agony too.

This is one of the greatest thrash metal gems I've found in my life. I'd given World Circus a listen, but this album manages to be immensely progressive and also very disturbing at times like the title track. Overall this is one of the best thrash metal albums you've most likely not heard of.

One of those albums that makes Reign In Blood feel mellow.rAnd probably Darkness Descends too.rVocals are scary, songs are insanely fast, riffs are cool, drumming is amazing, bass is nice and audible; generally a thrash gem.
