One of those albums that makes Reign In Blood feel mellow.rAnd probably Darkness Descends too.rVocals are scary, songs are insanely fast, riffs are cool, drumming is amazing, bass is nice and audible; generally a thrash gem.

This is one of the greatest thrash metal gems I've found in my life. I'd given World Circus a listen, but this album manages to be immensely progressive and also very disturbing at times like the title track. Overall this is one of the best thrash metal albums you've most likely not heard of.

Definitely a very strong effort and easily some of the better "typical" blackened death I've heard.

It's funny how Nothing For My Mum happens to be a colossal thrash assault, and a seriously good song.

The intro track is great, and the proper ones are brilliant too.rVocalist is completely inappropriate though, sound like the one from Tankard to an extent.
Prong Beg to Differ
Protector A Shedding of Skin
Pyaemia Cerebral Cereal
Rage Ghosts
Rage Lingua Mortis
This is actually a brilliant metal CD, and the version of In A Nameless Time on here is much better than the one on Black In Mind.

Album's definitely got some sweet riffs, especially the opener and title track.

Pretty sweet album considering how few votes it has.

Ulcerate Everything Is Fire
Unseen Terror Human Error
Vader XXV
Vektor Outer Isolation
Vicious Rumors Electric Punishment
Vital Remains Dechristianize
Warbringer Waking Into Nightmares
Warbringer Worlds Torn Asunder
I'm actually a little surprised that people don't like this more. The songwriting is generally strong and it's surprisingly original, and the drums are great.
Wormed Exodromos
This is damn good. Really damn good brutal death with a bunch of added weird chords and some fantastic riffs and occasionally effective ambient sounds.

3.5 great
Agressor The Spirit of Evil
Angelcorpse The Inexorable
Annihilator Total Annihilation
They're not Annihilator's best tracks, but this gives you some nice songs like Back To The Palace and Ultraparanoia for free.
Annihilator King of the Kill
Obvious highlight is the title track though it has some nice ballads and the band self titled here is pretty nice.
Anthrax Worship Music
Taking it down a bit as I'm Alive ticks me off.rIn The End is extremely good though.
Anubis Gate Anubis Gate
Battalion (CHE) Set the Phantom Afire
Benediction Grind Bastard
Significantly more commercial than earlier albums but still very strong and it gets the catchy air right.

Evile Five Serpent's Teeth
Exodus The Atrocity Exhibition...Exhibit A
Exodus Shovel Headed Kill Machine
Exodus Pleasures of the Flesh
Fields of the Nephilim Zoon
Gama Bomb Tales From the Grave in Space
Reminds me of Anthrax mixed with some random hyperactive thrash band. I liked it.
Hades Resisting Success
This is actually pretty good thrash. Don't see why more people haven't heard of it.
Helstar Glory Of Chaos
Some of the tracks here are so awesome, but overall it's pretty inconsistent.
Helstar Burning Star
Very NWOBHM, and it's pretty respectable ; the vocalist has a very high range and the riffs are pretty good.
Helstar Sins of the Past
Illdisposed 1 800 Vindication
Immolation Kingdom of Conspiracy
Intestine Baalism An Anatomy of the Beast
Invocator Dying to Live
Konkhra Sexual Affective Disorder
Not really seeing why this is rated so low. It's got some respectable riffs and some crushingly heavy moments. Vocals are decent too.
Kreator Hordes Of Chaos
Kreator Phantom Antichrist
Kreator Coma of Souls
Loudblast Frozen Moments Between Life and Death
Malevolent Creation Stillborn
I'm kinda shocked too, it's got some slower paced numbers but the riffs are great in places.
Megadeth Th1rt3en
Seems that the lack of Sneap has let Dave have a mid-life crisis on a couple of tracks. Never Dead, Deadly Nightshade, New World Order, Fast Lane, Black Swan, and a few moments on Public Enemy are fun, catchy and thrashy, but some songs here are either familiar returns or dull.
Meshuggah Contradictions Collapse
Metal Church A Light in the Dark
Disappear is pretty good, and overall this is an album full of catchy riffs, vocals are weaker than on the earlier albums though.
Nasty Savage Indulgence
Nazareth Loud 'n' Proud
THIS FLIGHT TONIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTrand other assorted good tracks
Nevermore Dead Heart In A Dead World
Oppressor Elements Of Corrosion
Origin Entity
Overkill Necroshine
Overkill Under The Influence

Good album. Borders on Brutal death at times, especially with the title track.

Saxon Unleash the Beast
It's pretty good, but I enjoyed Metalhead more.
Saxon Call to Arms
Sectu Inundate
Shah Beware
Sins Of Omission The Creation
Slauter Xstroyes Winter Kill
Sodom Code Red
Sodom In War And Pieces
Spawn of Possession Incurso
Spawn of Possession Noctambulant
Squealer Wrong Time, Wrong Place?
More refined than Make Your Day in terms of its approach. Still thrashy though.
Strapping Young Lad Strapping Young Lad
Testament The Ritual
Testament Low
Testament Dark Roots Of Earth
Unleashed Midvinterblot
Vader Necropolis
Vader Welcome To The Morbid Reich
When I get a decent opportunity I'll review this. I'm certainly impressed.
Vektor Black Future
Hugely impressive progressive thrash album. I haven't heard Demolition but this rips far beyond other extreme thrash releases like Inventor Of Evil. Funnily enough it reminds me of a mix of Destruction (drums and vocals, some riffs), Metallica (Most of the riffs) and Voivod (the progressiveness).

3.0 good
Am I Blood The Truth Inside the Dying Sun
Anthrax We've Come For You All
Damn, I was writing a review for this but got logged out. More of a hard rock album IMO, Scott doesn't do very good riffs.
Anthrax Sound Of White Noise
Anubis Gate Purification
Bonded by Blood Exiled to Earth
Boston Third Stage
Burning Inside The Eve Of Entities
Cryptopsy And Then You'll Beg
Voice Of Unreason is really awesome, but some of the tracks don't really get up to much.
Cynic Traced in Air
Death Angel Relentless Retribution
Decapitated Carnival Is Forever
Deicide Serpents Of The Light
Demolition Hammer Time Bomb
This is pretty average. Not that awful though. Stale riffs, generic Groove metal style, but aggressive vocals and occasional double bass and thrashyness is fun.
Destruction Cracked Brain
A decent attempt for a new album without their key member but the new vocalist for the album is way worse than Schmier. Production is pretty bad compared to Release From Agony too.
Destruction Spiritual Genocide
Exodus Force Of Habit
Feared Refeared
Feared Furor Incarnatus
A pretty decent album. Ola can produce some excellent melodic moments, and some occasionally very brutal ones, but it can lose itself in some poorer, more monotonous riffs. That said, it can be pretty groovy.
Hexen Being and Nothingness
Illdisposed Sense the Darkness
Kreator Enemy of God
Kreator Cause for Conflict
Machine Head Unto the Locust
Machine Head The Blackening
Machine Head Through the Ashes of Empires
Malevolent Creation The Will To Kill
Malevolent Creation Envenomed
Nasty Savage Wage of Mayhem
Nasum Shift
No Return Self Mutilation
Oppressor Solstice of Oppression
Overkill The Killing Kind
I liked Feeding Frenzy but there is a lot of stale riffing here.
Paradise Lost Shades Of God
Slayer Undisputed Attitude
Gemini is still a cool song due to the eerie nature of it. The covers aren't too bad either.
Squealer Make Your Day
There's a bit of power metal influence on this one but it thrashes mostly. It's solid, got good bits and bad bits. Not as good as "Wrong Time, Wrong Place?" and "The Prophecy", the latter of which is admittedly a bit of a one hit wonder with its opener.
Tankard A Girl Called Cerveza
Venom Fallen Angels
The initial surprise has worn off on me. It's okay, but not great.
Viraemia Viraemia
What separates this from the rest of the wank pack is that it actually has decently structured songs and some memorable riffs. It isn't brilliant but it's certainly better than crap like Brain Drill.

2.5 average
Archspire All Shall Align
Between the Buried and Me Colors
Flotsam and Jetsam Dreams of Death
Straight To Hell is fairly okay, but the rest is one big pile of meh, poorly produced metal.
Havok Time Is Up
okay je naime pas. It's really quite boring listening to it now
Malevolent Creation The Fine Art of Murder
Overkill Bloodletting
Overkill Relix IV
Pathology The Time of Great Purification
Psycroptic The Inherited Repression
Resurrection Mistaken For Dead
Sepultura Kairos
Riffs would be nice but I feel no weight behind them.
Six Feet Under Unborn
Six Feet Under Undead
Slayer God Hates Us All
Squealer The Circle Shuts
The Smashing Pumpkins Zeitgeist

2.0 poor
Annihilator The One
The vocals put me off in less than a second. Padden's voice was made for evil growls, not this.
Annihilator All for You
Dave Padden ruins this band. The vocals are made even worse because of the terrible lyrics on this and later albums.
Annihilator Annihilator
This sucks because of those god-awful lyrics as well as those dumb stop-start dynamics the band abuses.
Rage Execution Guaranteed
Reciprocal Reciprocal

1.5 very poor
Emmure Slave to the Game
Kraanium Post Mortal Coital Fixation
Metallica St. Anger

1.0 awful
Morbid Angel Illud Divinum Insanus
