I've listened to this album ten times in 24 hours. The only reason I haven't listened to it more is because I was sleeping. I should have listened to it in my sleep. The album is consistently beautiful and haunting from beginning to end. "The Warden" and "Sick" are two of the best tracks of the year so far.

I can't deviate what Fall Out Boy is now from what it was. It used to be one of the best pop punk units around, and now it's just pop. Trying to sell them as anything else is a waste of time. They've become something completely different.

This album is a perfect experience. The lyrics are simple and emotionally resonant. The whole thing is so stark and painfully real. Everything works together to create a feeling of desperation and ultimate loneliness. I listened to the album once and bought the vinyl because I knew that I couldn't forgive myself if I didn't have it in physical form. More artists need to learn this form of composition: finding the essence of one's own music and stripping everything else away. Beautiful, painful, and perfect. Further listening: "Laika" by Wil Wagner.
