Genesis Genesis 1970-1975
In this box set features all the classic Genesis albums, newly remastered. Whether it's
Foxtrot or The Lamb, you'll be sure to enjoy the fresh, crisp sound these remasters have.
There's also an extra CD containing the cream of the crop when it comes to outtakes and
rarities, the highlight being the four songs (Provocation, Frustration, Manipulation, and
Resignation) made for an unreleased BBC special about painter Michael Jackson. And last, but
not least, each album is accompanied by a DVD featuring a DTS and 5.1 Surround Sound Mix and
loads of extras. It's well worth the retail price and earns it's rating.

Harmonium L'Heptade
The most stunningly beautiful I've had the pleasure of hearing. Everyone and everything on this album is perfect. It's debatable to say it's one of the greatest albums ever made. Comme un Sage is the best example why.
Harmonium Harmonium en Tournee
You know about L'Heptade? How about we take that shit live? Remove the choir and orchestra?
And add some soul (AS IF WE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH)?

You got L'Heptade: En Tournee. Get that lube ready, you're going to need it.

Soon enough you find yourself lost in the music, starting your own mosh pit in the sand and rscreaming maniacally from the top of your lungs. So engulfed in the moment that you don'treven pay attention to your wife making out with this bandito, or your kids playing with the rguns they found in the backseat of his car. Over and over again, you keep pushing rewind and rkeeping the rock alive and screaming... occasionally snorting some of the strange white rpowder you found on the dash board of his car. Some hours later you're ready to collapse. rYour son has shot your daughter in the foot and your wife is passed out from the roverexertion. Yet you and this strange man are still rockin. Finally as the day ends, you rask this guy, "What's your name anyway?" "Rick.... the Desert Dick" he replies, as he drives roff into the sunset with your wife, leaving you with only a memory, and a cassette of NIGEL rPEPPER COCK.

The Enid In the Region of the Summer Stars
When listening to this for the first time, I was turned off by it being a completely instrumetal album, devoid of any vocals. By the time I hit 'The Loved Ones', I was devoting my full attention to the album. It's utter perfection, and if any prog-freaks haven't checked this out yet, you're just doing it wrong when it comes to progressive rock.
The Enid Something Wicked This Way Comes
The raindown comes down onto you. The tribal
drums bring forth the bombs.Synthesizers come
upon you, calming you down, only to throw you into
a paranoid state of mind. The emotional Guitarist
does more than pluck his strings, but cries out the
end of man: The raindown comes down onto you,
and the end of man is caused by man itself.

The band's debut showcases Swans' powerful anger, not letting up for a minute. Surprisingly accessible too.
Swans The Seer
Present-day Swans, with the anger of 80s Swans and the pop tendencies of 90s Swans, mesh together perfectly. Tons of droning reminds me of Cop and Soundtracks... Get hype for 2014 perhaps?

It's just like Harmonium minus the folk and synths, and more of the keys. I like it.
Octobre Les Nouvelles Terres
Here, Octobre progress as a band and shed the folk tendencies of the debut album. They're eerily similar to Harmonium.
Octobre Survivance
Following the previous Octobre LP, it seems as the band has abandoned the vague funk-influence in favor of more focus on the keys. The similarities to Harmonium still remain, but are beginning to phase out as Octobre is coming into their own. Funny to say since this band formed before Harmonium.

Like I said with the 1970-1975 box set, the later era of this prog/pop giant has been remastered, even though these didn't need it as much as the previous two box sets, although Invisible Touch sounds better now. The lack of material from 1983 on the extras bring it down a bit. Not worth the retail, but essential for a hardcore fan looking to own the entire discography.

Queen Made in Heaven
Reverend Desaad Elemental Raga II: Fire Starter
This shit's too hot for me.
Rush Caress of Steel
Serge Fiori Serge Fiori
Nice ass return considering he hasn't done any solo work since 1986. He is now apparently
very fluent in English.

A problem, however: the album goes on for a good fifteen minutes too long.
Slapp Happy Acnalbasac Noom
Snowy Red Snowy Red
Snowy Red Vision
Styx The Grand Illusion
Swans Young God
Swans Cop
A decent follow up to Filth, but the slowed tempo really drags down the music. Gira is angrier than ever.
Swans Public Castration Is a Good Idea
Despite its acclaim, Castration starts out strong, but really drags on too long with all the tracks sounding the same. Maybe I need to turn the volume up...
Swans Time Is Money (Bastard)
Talking Heads Naked
The 13th Floor Elevators The Psychedelic Sounds Of...
The Alan Parsons Project Pyramid
The Antlers Hospice
The Doors Absolutely Live
The Doors The Soft Parade
The Doors An American Prayer
The Enid Touch Me
Yeah, maybe this album and its concept could've been handled more better. Alright music, with some engaging moments, but a slew of dragging moments that weaken the album. Not essential, but suggested if you enjoyed its predecessors.
The Enid The Stand 1985-1986
The Enid Fand
The Enid Anarchy on 45: Complete Singles Collection
In this odd compilation are the group's singles from 1977 to 1990, including some novelty singles released by their label at the time (Pye) in order to make money, as well as some interesting tracks, such as "665 The Great Bean" and a cover of "Golden Earrings". While the first part focuses on the a-sides, the latter focuses on the obscure tracks on the b-sides. It's obvious which ones are the stronger ones and vice versa. It isn't essential, but is worth a listen.

Pvrge of the soul, desecration of the mind, the trvth comes to us all as we listen to this, as I write this pointless shit.

The Enid White Goddess
The Flaming Lips Dark Side of the Moon
The few bland segments overpower the shining moments, such as Any Colour You Like, but overall a decent take on a classic album.
The Mothers of Invention Cruising with Ruben & the Jets
The Residents High Horses
The Residents Title in Limbo
The Residents Gingerbread Man
The Stooges Ready To Die
Definitely not up to par with the first three albums, but that doesn't weaken the album in rany sense. On the plus side, at least Iggy sounds relatively good and doesn't sing about how rhis "dick is turning into a tree." "Ready to Die" is two notches up from "The Weirdness" and rcan be seen as a return to form.
Thee Oh Sees Putrifiers II
is this 50 characters?
Trvth Proverbial
It'll probably take me another listen or two, bvt this shows tons of potential in Trvth. As
for the albvm, work more on the mixing, the drvms are barely avdible and sovnds as someone

Queen Queen's First E.P.
Despite the catchiness of "Good Old-Fashioned Loverboy", "Queen's First E.P." was thankfully their last. The only saving grace are the other three songs present, with "White Queen" being more worthy of a single release.
Queen Flash Gordon
Flash Gordon wasn't the saviour of the universe after all. "Aaah!" indeed.
