| Barn Owl Raft of Serpents |
While walking throughout the desert of Sahara I saw a wall of sand.. Walking towards the
dune to gaze at the magnificent figure of my fate - I stumbled upon the desolation of
love. As flowers of life blossomed deep inside the woods - the limpid smell of
sacchariferous nectar touched my mouth. As I took a deep breathing & imagined the thresholds
of my death. And so on, while meandering athwart the desert; I kissed my beloved's cheek and
whispered "Our love weakens occasionally - For love is more than a
sentiment, an affection; love is an art - An art that requires passion, knowledge, & mutual
effort". Therein lies Barn Owls genius; their atmosphere desires. Their love - separation.
Their snow - A desert. An answer - A question. This is one of the most pulchritudinous drone
pillars I've ever catch sight of. Start the caravan - ignite the lotus - Barn Owl is a
pompous creature slowly flowering vis-à-vis as one of the most perennial blossoms inside the
drone genre. |

some of Drumm's best & perhaps most overlooked material. Although the album is comprised of
very monotonal electronic noises & their interactions with Kevin's spoiler kvlt-tuned
guitar; the ear-raping textures he manages to emancipate are fascinatingly complex... & the
abrasive, sadistic power that he seamlessly evokes is simply astonishing. Clocking at only
tha half of 60-mins;; are you fucking penetrating me now?? because i can barely feel my
tympanic membrane. |

| If matter disintegrates and the diminished fragments of your soul fuse with its remnant ashes... what are we, you, and me? What's meaning itself struggling to find a meaning? When time forgets his intrinsic role playing with the memories of a distant (illusory) tonality, a disconsolant nightmare of blissful grief. Aki's intimate performance endures, as Feldman used to say; a 'religious ritual' for his paragon of darkness. |

| Tony Williams Life Time |
| rAmazing piece of work, dark and somber yet always a beautiful, captivating and interesting piece. Life Time is one of Tony Williams best works, not only as a solo artist but also as a musician (and that's saying a lot considering he worked on BB, IASW and many Blue Note releases back in the 60's / 70's) of course however, don't expect this to be like "Tony Williams Lifetime" that's a completely different story since it is a fusion album with Mahavishnu-John, this work is haunting free-jazz that silently built-s towards modal sections and mysteriously hides a few peculiar aspects such as the inclusion of hard Bop and post-Bop elements. An amazing piece of work indeed. |

| Don Cherry Complete Communion |
Don Cherry hits gold with side A; great duos going on and Blackwell's interesting
polyrhythms. Bebop-like theme is given an entrance at the beginning and revisits us near the
end. Side B, on the other hand, is perhaps directionless lacking the illustrious substance
that characterized Cherry's first composition. Complete Communion is a solid offering from a
very important figure inside free-form jazz, give it a try. Even though this isn't Cherry's
ultimate achievement, it stands as an interesting suite that should not be missed if you're
well fond on these jazz cities. |
