5.0 classic
Basil Poledouris Conan The Barbarian
Megadeth Rust in Peace
Greatest metal album of all time. Its progressive, its dark, its thrashy(obviously), its fast, its intense, its lyrically intelligent, and its heavy. You can't expect anymore from a metal band.
Opeth Morningrise
Opeth The Candlelight Years
Tiamat Clouds

4.5 superb
Infant Annihilator The Palpable Leprosy of Pollution
Job For A Cowboy Demonocracy
Mastodon Crack the Skye
The most out-of-this-world-experience music had offered in at least the past decade. Everything comes together to make an absolutely satisfying album of progression.
Megadeth Countdown to Extinction
Megadeth Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?
Megadeth So Far, So Good... So What!
Megadeth That One Night: Live in Buenos Aires
Megadeth Endgame
Opeth Orchid
Shadow of the Colossus Shadow of the Colossus
Non-Repetitive, Heavy, Fast, Progressive and at times shows a hint of psychedelic deathcore . Band has an unbelievable amount of potential which i absolutely hope to be see used in the future, considering this band skyrocketed to my favorite death metal/core band.
Tiamat Wildhoney
Experimentation in a death metal band done perfect. There is no meaningless filler on this album and it all comes together beautifully. I do enjoy Tiamat's other musical efforts(Clouds being my favorite) but this album stands out in a rather humble yet devastatingly magnificent way that is unmatched. Every part of the band showcases their instruments just accordingly to create a vivid space/psychedelic atmosphere that is perfectly accompanied by most intelligent lyrics that are presented with a very versatile singing range. Those who love Pink Floyd's psychedelic music and death metal will consider this a absolutely grand album of epic proportion, as i do myself.
Tool Opiate

4.0 excellent
Attila Fallacy
Although lacking that rebellious, juvenile attitude that's represented within Rage and Outlawed, this album still thrives with fierce raw energy, arguably heavier than every other Attila release.
Bring Me the Horizon Count Your Blessings
Chelsea Grin Desolation Of Eden
This is deathcore(not death metal) at its best. If you dont like malice-blistering lyrics with a vengeful attitude and breakdowns that set you up for major headbanging then you will hate this album. Chelsea Grin do what they do best and do a damn good job of it. Does not show much musicianship and technicality but thats not what i expect from a deathcore's band first effort. Basically, Chelsea Grin knows how to do a great breakdown, which sadly, provokes a negative attitude towards deathcore bands. But like i said, if you're into evil breakdowns and face churning vocals, this album will be a favorite of yours.
Mastodon Leviathan
Mastodon The Hunter
Megadeth Youthanasia
Megadeth Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!
Megadeth The System Has Failed
Megadeth The World Needs a Hero
Megadeth United Abominations
Megadeth Th1rt3en
Opeth My Arms, Your Hearse
Opeth Ghost Reveries

3.5 great
Attila Outlawed
Overall, its what you expect of Attila. Lyrics that are a much harder edged version of pre-2010 Bring Me The Horizon lyrics(Lyrics about partying, friends, girls and betrayal) and evolving trademark Attila guitar work that are impressive. Even the Fronz vocals just keeps getting better, and he does a great job of transitioning his different singing techniques throughout the songs. This album marks their best all-around material, and I await their next album.
Bring Me the Horizon There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It...
Deftones Adrenaline
Job For A Cowboy Doom
Megadeth Cryptic Writings
Opeth Damnation
Opeth Watershed
The Holy Guile FSU
Although I want to give this album a 4, I don't believe it deserves it. I feel as though at least two of the first 5 songs should have been replaced with new material, nearly all of this album is solid, except for Stoke Stokely and Ugly Biddie. Overall, even with the lyrics and song names, this album is a great listen.
Tiamat Amanethes
Tool Ænima
White Zombie Astro Creep: 2000
Both White Zombie and Rob Zombie put together their strongest musical efforts in an atmospheric crunch of metal. The instrumentation is heavy, crunchy, fast, intense and surprisingly atmospheric. However there could be one problem for some listeners. Im not one to complain about understanding the vocalist(I love death metal vocals) but if i were, the vocals would be the lowest point on this album. Not to say i don't like Rob's Vocals, but other than the chorus, you cant understand a word of his. Of course i do believe his vocals have become an iconic staple in all of metal. Overall just about every track is absolutely great. The only track Ive never been able to really enjoy was 'Super Charger Heaven'. A pointless anthem meant to showcase an onslaught of their energy just doesn't appeal to me. But other than that, this album definitely deserves a listen from all metal heads.

3.0 good
As They Burn Aeon's War
Heavy and atmospheric. The band utilizes the resented breakdowns, but adds a very appealing atmosphere that makes this band stand out from the dark depths of deathcore. However, this album doesn't have much replay value.
August Burns Red Thrill Seeker
Bring Me the Horizon This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For
Bring Me the Horizon Suicide Season
Opeth Heritage

2.5 average
As Blood Runs Black Instinct
Too few great moments within a majority of the songs with the rest being nearly bland, make this album somewhat of a failure. The once memorable riffs and breakdowns that Allegiance was known for are nowhere to be found. There's potential, but it's going to take much effort for this band to find it.
Attila Rage
Deftones Around the Fur
Here Comes the Kraken Hate, Greed & Death
The Crimson Armada Conviction
I expected soo much more from what i thought was a very talented band. Don't get me wrong, the music was okay, and not as generic as what others say, but what disappointed me the most and put 25% of the nails in this bands coffin was the music video for 'Forgive Me'. I seriously thought this band was smarter than to make a video like that, ESPECIALLY when the horrible video has nothing to do with the lyrics. rAll i can hope for is more material to come out from the singer's side project The Holy Guile, which is a continuous representation of the old Crimson Armada.
Tool Lateralus

Metallica Death Magnetic

1.5 very poor
