Carnifex Hell Chose Me
An enormous step forward from their last album. Amazing mood throughout the play, great
vocals, a bad ass chug fest. Hell Chose Me is everything you could ask for as a Deathcore
aficionado, if you're not looking for anything too technical or intriguing.
Carnifex Until I Feel Nothing
The band's best work. Their sound is getting refined and slightly more technical and promising. Solid, powerful and so very worthwhile.

Enter Shikari A Flash Flood of Colour
Finally, there is something plain positive to say about these guys. Energetic, full of momentum, unique and a great message as always, perhaps even more polished. An amazing, solid fusion between post-hardcore and electronic genres. Enter Shikari at their best.

In Hearts Wake Divination
Never too over the top, steady paced, Divination is one great experience for any genre aficionado. The clean singing is well applied and cautious not to wear you out, the breakdowns are impetuous despite their minimalism, the use of melodic elements such as guitar layers remain a good presence when existent, and the guest vocals are an overwhelming break from any monotony you could have come across here. Very good album, recommend to anyone into Melodic Metalcore/Hardcore.

Sean Hall Terrestrial
Sean Hall is clearly a complete musician. Terrestrial shows how much this talented young fellow can accomplish by himself. From the extremely well executed guitar riffs to the mindful song structures, Terrestrial is a eerie yet beautiful trip. You can see how much heart Sean has put on this one too, if only he had included some vocals on this. Very rewarding experience overall.
Seven Year Kismet Not Without Incident
Signal The Firing Squad Earth Harvest
Massive instrumentation, with fast and relentless guitars and blast beat sections. Brutal Deathcore done right, with skill and intention. Vocals are also amazing, making Earth Harvest a treat farthermost.

Their previous work was heavier and faster (mainly Shapeshifter), but that's not what makes
Exoplanet inferior to me. These guys are great musicians, geniuses perhaps in their own
right, but Exoplanet is not as consistent as an album of this sort should be, like it's
lacking a steady ground. Again and still, very talented people. Exoplanet is a great
experience overall.

Very mature and focused sound. It is the mixture between sheer brutality and melody that

all comes together in a certain way.

Decent. Doesn't bring anything new to the table, but sounds pretty boss. I like that they
used a down right Metalcore riff on Koko Massacre. Pig squeal sections are good, wish they
would use those more often, and with more creativity.

Whitechapel Whitechapel
Whitechapel have grown a lot over the past few years, but in this case, growth is not equal to a crescent in quality. While their sound remains very listenable, with this album they reduced themselves to a blatant, somewhat colorless average Deathcore riff fest. The transitions are a bit too simple, the sound overall flows nicely but it's way more linear than the band's past releases, making it a poor experience for their early followers. The Death Metal influences are growing more evident, while their breakdown vein is mostly drying. Nonetheless, it's a solid effort. Heavy, moody and balanced. Just not the Whitechapel every Deathcore fan will be looking for.

One Morning Left Our Sceneration
A band that was going the right way, blending electronic segments and 8-bit sounds with an explosive Deathcore and making it all sound the most fun they could. This is just boring, unoriginal and effortless. The production in this is a step down too. The clean singing doesn't come in as it should. Nothing quite works in this album. "Fuck The Lyrics" is probably the only song worth of the band's past releases. Uninspiring.
