I'm digging the direction. Didn't hear their second album, but have been digging their first lp recently. This feels rather unique and evolved; a huge step up from their previous efforts. A larger focus on vocals and songwriting help this one stand out on first listens, while they perfectly retain their outstanding groove that grows on you over time.

Animal Collective Sung Tongs
Animal Collective Campfire Songs
Beach House Depression Cherry
I've listened to it a few times now and can't help feeling dissapointed. This joins Tallest Man on Earth among the
ranks of interesting new sound with boring-as songs. I like it less with each listen.

Edit: It's really grown on me now. The first six tracks are beautiful, though it loses me towards the end.
