I don't see how they can really go back to their roots anyway without Head and David. Remember all those clips on 'Deuce' talking about how Head and Munky are like guitar soulmates and they compliment and need each other? And on 'Who then now, bitches' how they said "No one in this band is shit without all the other guys"? Well, they weren't lying. Munky held it together (just) for a while with SYOTOS and Untitled, creating some worthwhile tunes, but I think he's pretty much done all he can by himself. This album was trying to rely wholly on being raw and emotional to be successful, but to me, it just seemed really forced. I didn't believe Jon's crying and sobbing and screaming, and more importantly the music surrounding it didn't really make me want to listen anyway. Remember how awesome the whole sound (guitars, drums, bass) of Kill You was? Now THAT was something for Jon to scream over, and it all seemed real, and huge, and just damn cool. There's so much more I could say, and if anyone read all this I applaud your attention span, but I'll sum it up by saying - KoRn will always be my favourite band of all time, but until they can be the amazing band they used to be, I think they should just hold off releasing more albums (at least under the name KoRn), and we should just be content listening to the ones that made us love them so much in the first place.
