5.0 classic
Metallica Master of Puppets
Metallica Ride the Lightning
Minor Threat Complete Discography
Tool Ænima
Wu-Tang Clan Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
One of the few hip hop albums that I've really gotten into. There's just something about this one that had me listening to it over and over again.

4.5 superb
As I Lay Dying An Ocean Between Us
This is, in my opinion, the best straight up metalcore album. It's got a pretty extreme, but accessible sound to it. The guitar work is great, awesome melodies all the while maintaining heaviness.
August Burns Red Constellations
Black Flag Damaged
Deftones White Pony
Deftones Diamond Eyes
GZA Liquid Swords
Machine Head Burn My Eyes
Mastodon The Hunter
Megadeth Rust in Peace
Misery Signals Controller
My Bloody Valentine Loveless
Oasis (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
I'd say this is my favorite kind of straight forward, alt rock album.
Pantera Cowboys from Hell
Pantera Vulgar Display of Power
Pearl Jam Ten
Quicksand Slip
Sepultura Chaos A.D.
Shai Hulud Hearts Once Nourished With Hope...

All That Remains The Fall of Ideals
Animals As Leaders Animals as Leaders
Animals As Leaders Weightless
As I Lay Dying The Powerless Rise
August Burns Red Leveler
This is a really good album, especially in the genre of metalcore. However, it fails to have the same lasting appeal that constellations has in my opinion.
Born of Osiris The Discovery
Carcass Heartwork
Just sort of got into this. It's a pretty interesting album I'd say. Kind of the foundation of melodic death metal.
Deftones Around the Fur
Devin Townsend Project Addicted
Gojira The Way of All Flesh

Metallica Kill 'Em All
Metallica ...And Justice for All
Parkway Drive Deep Blue
Queens of the Stone Age Songs for the Deaf
Scale the Summit The Collective
Sepultura Arise
Slayer Reign in Blood
The Contortionist Exoplanet
Probably the best deathcore album ever created. It's brutal and heavy when it needs to be, and melodic and beautiful as well. Harsh vocals take a bit to get used to. Overall an amazing album.
The Faceless Planetary Duality
Tool 10,000 Days

3.5 great

A Day To Remember What Separates Me from You
All That Remains This Darkened Heart
All That Remains Overcome
All That Remains ...For We Are Many
As I Lay Dying Frail Words Collapse
Perfectly decent album. At this point the band was still trying to find it's sound I think. In general the songwriting is good, but there's just something lacking from this in comparison to their later efforts.
As I Lay Dying Shadows Are Security
Better than Frail words collapse, but not much better. I think it mainly has to do with the production, because it just doesn't sound as clear or crisp as an ocean between us or the powerless rise have.
Audioslave Audioslave
Audioslave Revelations
Deftones Deftones
Deftones Saturday Night Wrist
Godsmack Awake
Godsmack IV
In Flames Reroute to Remain

Emmure Felony
Kind of just terrible... the epitome of terrible deathcore. The lyrics are absolute garbage, as with the musician ship, vocals, pretty much everything about it.
